Christoffer Ingves MD PhD

Plastic Surgery Specialist, ZSMU Visiting Professor

In 1990, he obtained a medical degree from the University of Copenhagen and a Master’s degree from Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts (The first generation of a laser diode).

Since 1994 – member of the Danish Surgical Society and since 1995 – member of the Danish Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He completed his specialist training at the Danish plastic/reconstructive/burn surgery centers, the University Hospital in Copenhagen (Rigshospitalet RH), Hvidovre (KKHH) in Odense (OUH), Roskilde (RAS) and Vejle. His most recent employment was as the head of the plastic surgery department at Helsingør Hospital in 2006.

Simultaneously, he worked with patients of “waiting list projects” in Greenland, Norway and Sweden. He is a member of the Swedish and Norwegian associations for plastic surgery, and in 2006, also joined the Spanish association for plastic surgery. In the years 2008-2009 he worked as a consultant at Akademikklinik AB in Sweden and Copenhagen. Since 2009, he has been a consultant for Stureplansklinik AB in Sweden and Denmark. From January 2000 until 2016, he operated his private clinic, INGVES KLINIK, in Copenhagen.

Since 2016, he has been a member of the Polish Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and is employed as a senior surgeon at the Ambroziak Clinic in Warsaw, Poland. He has always been passionate about the cosmetic and aesthetic side of plastic surgery, actively participating in international conferences, courses, and workshops as a lecturer and educator. He is the author of several scientific publications. He was a recognizable face on the TVN Style program “Życie bez wstydu” (Life Without Shame) from 2016 to 2019. Since 2020, he has been collaborating with Dr. Szczyt’s Clinic in Warsaw and cooperating as a partner at Duda Clinic in Katowice under the brand of Ingves Clinic since 2020.
Doctor Ingves has Polish roots.

  • 2000-2015: Establishment of INGVES KLINIK with two locations, in Copenhagen and Vejle.
  • 2003-2004: Launching and testing the PDA Matrix® solution with the Norwegian Photocure A/S.
  • 2003: Development and testing of a new Imiquimod and Acitretin (3M). See publication. Budget: DKK 0.8 million.
  • 1998-2000: Development and testing of diode laser with Coherent Corp. (USA) Lightsheer®.
  • 1994-1997: Cooperation with Shapland (Israel) and Candrella Corp. (USA) in the development of M. H. P, the first generation of diode lasers.
  • 1996-1997: Development and testing with KFC Corp. (USA) of the new V.A.C.® Technique, which has been implemented in all Danish hospitals.
